Inverto looks back on 15 years of development and production of electronic ballasts for both professional and consumer markets.
In 1990, Inverto developed and produced its first electronic converters for both HID and TL lamps for OEM.
This technological knowledge let to a close cooperation with lamp and system manufacturers, making Inverto the ideal partner for custom lamp control development. Besides the electronic converter know-how, Inverto built up experience and know how in lamp – electronics interaction.
John De Clercq, R&D Manager: ‘Our knowledge base of lighting electronics is now so wide that we can help our customers to enable there innovative ideas with advanced solutions. We can develop there test setups to evaluate new lamp and lamp system solutions, e.g. for lifetime evaluation. This gives added value for our customers. Inverto produces the 100th Mid Frequency Generator. The MFGEN product line has an operating range from 18 to 25 KHz and 36 to 50 KHz. The available power ranges are 40KW, 80KW and 160KW using IGBT technology.
The product is mainly used in steel cord industry. It allows accurate thermal control in the production process of steel cord. This product also fits for other induction heating applications.
